How it all started
I grew up in a town on the outskirts of Amsterdam. From a young age I loved going on adventures and travelling to different countries.
After finishing high school I spent a couple of months doing voluntary work in Central America and South-East Asia before starting my occupational therapy studies. These adventures opened me up to different cultures, ideologies and ways of living.
Taking the leap
At the start of 2016 I decided to quit my job as an occupational therapist. I realised that this wasn't fulfilling for me.
I felt lost, anxious and depressed. I wanted to find my true mission and purpose in life but didn't know where to start.
The foundation
With my new found interest in health and wellness, I signed up for a one year health coaching course at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I loved learning about holistic health, encompassing not just food and exercise, but so much more.
For several years I kept on studying anything to do with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. I attended workshops, meditation groups, yoga classes and several courses.
Whilst doing the inner work, I continued to travel all over the world. I moved for a year to London and lived for three years in Australia. I feel so grateful for all the beautiful people I have met along the way.
I found some incredible mentors that guided me to where I am today. I have started to get to know and appreciate myself for who I am and have discovered what I truly value in life, my mission and my purpose.
My Mission
